The meals I return to
What repetition teaches me about instinct and care.
At my table
I cook to care for people, to gather them in, and because making something good still gives me pleasure.

I have learned the things that matter by repetition: notice what is in front of you, use what is good, and leave room for one more person.
In my own words
I do not think of myself as an expert. I know what years in a kitchen have taught me: to watch, taste, adjust, and pay attention to the people at the table. Food is one of the languages I have used all my life, and I am still finding new things to say with it.
What repetition teaches me about instinct and care.
I want food to be generous, useful, and genuinely enjoyed.
The ingredients and tools that have earned their place over time.
A letter, occasionally
What I am noticing, making, questioning, and learning. I will write when there is something honest to share.
